Diabetic Retinopathy

Diabetic retinopathy is a diabetes complication that affects eyes caused by damage to the blood vessels of the light-sensitive tissue at the back of the eye (retina). The uncontrolled diabetes is running a very high risk of retinopathy because of blockage of the tiny blood vessels that nourish the retina and the eye attempts to grow new blood vessels but they are not properly formed and can leak easily. No symptoms in early stage.

Symptoms of Diabetic Retinopathy include: -

  • Floaters
  • Blurred vision
  • Fluctuating vision
  • Impaired color vision
  • Vision loss

Key prevention measures: -

  1. Good control of blood sugar
  2. Sufficient super antioxidant
